Hi there!

So I feed my dog Orijen and table scraps.. I can’t help those sad puppy eyes looking at me while I eat..

Thanks

We feed our dogs Acana Lamb & Apple mixed with canned Nature’s Variety – Instinct.
They love it!

My pet is a member of the family. I do cook soup bones for him and I remove the fat before I give him a very small bone every morning (before Ileave for work!!).
At night he has his supper : Turkey breast parts or steak or filet mignon minced ususally (left over from sunday dinner) wich I cut and freeze in the smallest Ziploc bags and I warm it a bit before I give the meat for my dog and I make sure there is no spices or sauce to the meat.
He is more grateful than my adult kids

Hi Terri,

How many dogs do you have? and what breeds?

admin 23 March 2011 at 6:22 AM

Hi Tina,

Your dogs are lucky to have someone take such care of what they eat. I cringe at what some dogs eat (super market dog food). Good for you!

I have 2 Boston Terriers; one with allergies & one without. We like to feed them the same food whenever possible, and the Acana lamb & Apple seems to do the trick for both of them.

I feed my 4 year old black Lab Bella 6-Fish and Red-Meat Formula Orijen. She does VERY well on it and she gets complements about her super soft and shiny coat whenever we walk to the park.

Bella is my black lab, and I love her more than life itself. She is fed Orijen Red Meat Formula. Compliments flow freely when we go for hikes, she is super soft and shiny!

Hi
found this on living social..interesting!
I have 2 fur children! 2 west highland white terriers. One is bonnie who is 2 and the other is nicky who is 3. I found feeding them a high protein diet with no grains worked well, Arcana is canadian and smells so good i would eat it if hungry! Once a day a tablespoon of wet food with dry i used Natural Balance.
Less food per day in quantity and healthy dogs.
We walk a ton on the mountain off leash and go to a farm in the townships.

Hi,

My lovely chihuahua Litchi is really loving Ziwipeak (either dry or wet) and really love apple, bananas and mostly cheese and pasta!
She loves her treats too!!

We travel a lot so the only solution is a combination of people food and raw. The constant day to day change of diet allows for the canine stomach to be adjusted to an ever rotating diet. This means we do not have to worry about finding a specific brand while on our travels and in-transit feeding is easier too. We basically all eat the same thing. Human or dog – with a few added elements for the dog. Spent a lot of time researching and we have struck a perfect balance. My vet is thrilled with the results…. and a little surpised. :)
